Hospitals near Oslo are seeking midwives for both long and short assignments during the summer.

Shifts are distributed between combined delivery and maternity wards as well as an observation unit for pregnant women. Experience with both normal and complicated deliveries is therefore a requirement. Experience in monitoring and following up complicated pregnancies and inducing labor is also an advantage.

The department uses the following journal/documentation systems:

• DIPS

• Partus

• Milou

• Metavision

If you do not live in the area, Dedicare covers travel to and from the assignment location and provides accommodation during the assignment periods.

• Norwegian license as a midwife

• Experience from larger maternity wards and pathological/complicated deliveries

• STAN certification may be required

• Updated practical CPR training within the last year

• Preferably experience with DIPS Arena/Partus

• Very good knowledge of a Nordic language, both spoken and written

• Free travel and accommodation during work periods
